Jerome de Gerlache began his career in Brussels as a director of photography on commercials and films. In 2005, he moved to Paris and directed the short film “The Meeting,” selected for several European festivals and Short-Shorts in Tokyo.
Jerome’s unabated energy and heartwarming sensibility has resulted in a large body of work—commercials, documentaries, music videos, and one feature film—that exudes a pure and positive connectivity to his audience.
His vast empathy has him effectively addressing contemporary issues commercial projects such as Uber, McDonald’s, Hugo Boss, Pay Pal and Repetto. He has shown work in Nowness, and was a featured director and cinematographer at Arri.
